Description

Vetoryl Capsules contain Trilostane, a synthetic steroid analogue that selectively inhibits 3β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase, blocking cortisol production in the adrenal cortex.
 Indications:
For treatment of pituitary-dependent and adrenal-dependent hyperadrenocorticism (Cushing’s Disease) in dogs.
Dosage:
1–3 mg/lb (2.2–6.7 mg/kg) once daily, administered with food.
Start at the lowest effective dose based on body weight and available capsule strengths (5, 10, 30, 60, 120 mg).
Notes:
Monitor ACTH stimulation tests and electrolytes regularly.
